Comment: I'd advise getting the model with the swing-out filter basket. I've had both, and this model's lift-out basket means that if coffee grounds get spilled you have to put the whole pot under running water (carefully) in order to clean it. Also, raising the reservoir lid to add water or service the filter basket requires sliding the pot to a place on your countertop where there's nothing (such as a cupboard) above it. Otherwise the lid snaps down, like a trap, as soon as you let it go.

Next time I'll get the other model again. This one makes good coffee, but it's a nuisance to take care of.
