Summary: Better than most, but could be better 2009-07-16
Comment: I had an aluminum moka pot before, but was concerned with the fact that it was aluminum, so I went on a search to find a stainless steel moka pot and ended up with this one.
Overall, I like this pot since it is bigger than my last pot and made of stainless steel. However, there are a couple of things that could be improved upon.
First, the inside of the pot isn't stainless steel, but is coated with some mystery coating that is definitely not stainless. I'm not sure what the reason behind this coating is, but I'd rather it wasn't there. Also, the spout could be improved upon. It's positioning tends to cause minor spills when you are pouring.
While this pot isn't the perfect moka pot, it is better than any of the others I've tried, so I would recommend it.
