Braun's AromaDeluxe is a no-nonsense, easy-to-use coffeemaker for those who still prefer a basic cup of coffee. The coffeemaker brews up to 10 cups using a fast brewing method that thoroughly extracts the rich flavor and aroma from your ground coffee. The integrated Brita water filter also contributes to better-tasting coffee by screening out chlorine and other harsh minerals, plus it prevents calcification within the water tank. A marker on the top of the water tank helps you keep track of when the water filter needs to be changed. Other handy extras on the AromaDeluxe include a filter release button, which swings the detachable filter basket open for filling or easy cleaning, and a pause-and-serve feature, which stops the brewing while you pour a cup of coffee midway through a cycle. For safety, the glass carafe has a comfortable, nonslip handle with an open design to accommodate larger hands. Summary: Just what I needed 2008-09-04
Comment: I wanted a coffeemaker with an on/off switch, that used cone filters and didn't cost over $50. This is just about the only one available and it's fine. The carafe doesn't pour well; coffee always escapes the spout when you pour a cup of coffee. That happened on our old Braun, so we were used to it.

Comment: I ordered this product on 8-06-08. I can't really rate the quality of this item because I will not recieve it until 8-18-08. Do not buy from this seller. They can't even ship things on time. The package finally shipped on 8-13-08 and should arrive three days after the guarantied delivery date of 8-15-08.

Summary: Easy to Use; Makes Great Coffee 2008-08-05
Comment: This is the most basic and simple coffee maker I have ever used. There is no timer to tell you it is done making coffee, but you really don't need it. As described by the manufacturer, it makes about one cup per minute, so it makes a couple of cups very quickly. It does not come with a gold-tone filter, which is probably for the best. I used it with a gold-tone filter I had, but it left a lot of residue in the cup (cosmetic, because it didn't affect the coffee's flavor). So, I use unbleached paper filters, which leave no residue (pretty cup of coffee!). It made really delicious coffee the very first time I used it, and it continues to deliver wonderful-tasting, no hassle coffee weeks later. I really love this little coffee maker and recommend it highly.
