Summary: Nice looking, but difficult to clean. 2010-04-16
Comment: This is a very attractive press, however to clean you must unscrew all the layers of screen and metal at the bottom. The 'blocking' feature in my opinion is not needed. It makes cleanup a pain. I'd prefer to be able to spray out the grounds after each use instead of completely taking it apart.

Summary: Change is Good 2010-03-30
Comment: After having had several automatic coffee makers (all of which made less than fantastic coffee) I decided it was time for a change. Living in Louisiana, I frequent New Orleans on a regular basis and so am very familiar with this type of coffee press. The rich, flavorful coffee from this type of pot spoils not only your taste buds but your nose as well. I was a bit leery due to the fact that I would have grind coffee beans and boil water first thing in the morning (I am NOT a morning person). The extra effort is well worth it. This pot is very convenient for people who like rich, dark brew but do be aware that if you drink a mug of coffee you're only likely to get two from this pot. The clean up isn't difficult but must be done by hand so it does require a little time. I find the quality of this press to be in line with what I have seen at upscale hotels in New Orleans, which undergo far more use in a week than mine will in a month.

Summary: Disappointed 2010-01-12
Comment: I am very disappointed in the shipping. I recieved my coffe press and the glass was broken. I don't know how it will taste. I was sooo looking forward to it only to be heart broken. I am sending it back and trying once more to get it all in one piece. So we shall see...Will give another opinion when I get the other one. Kathy from Charleston, S.C.

Summary: Nice Craftsmanship 2009-12-28
Comment: Nice looking coffee press.
Yes, you will pay more for this coffee press. But, you get much better craftsmanship for your money. I have used different brands including Bodum and no coffee press I have used to date has been this well crafted.
You honestly get what you pay for with this press.
