Comment: This is misrepresented as a 6-cup maker; it is a 3-cup espresso maker. Bialetti shares the blame with Amazon, as the item is also represented on Bialetti's own website as a 6-cup espresso maker. The box is clearly labeled "3-cup," and that is what it is. It makes about 4 ounces. I returned it, no hassle.
It would be wonderful if vendors knew what they were selling--especially the company that makes what it sells--but alas, this seems consistently not to be the case with espresso makers. I will not mail order an espresso maker again; size and workmanship vary so much that it really is necessary to see them first hand.
Also, even if the small size doesn't put you off at the price, the handle is short and rough, not as ergonomic as I expected, and the enamel job and finish are not very polished, either. It's one of those things that's under-cute and over-priced.
